Abyss

Final RenderBase Render
I have always wondered what lives within the deepest caves of our ocean, those places where only some sea beings can reach. I am pretty sure there must have been an unknown civilization thousands of years ago living under the sea, which perhaps still lives among us. And since I like the ocean and all its creatures, I got inspired to imagine how humankind would look after millions of years of aquatic evolution. That’s how I came up with “Liqthus”, a futuristic human being protecting the gates beyond known boundaries. So, I made this illustration, which depicts an “Abyss”, knowing that there might be hundreds of them on planet earth.
